Picture 1 shows a basic view of a Sandia Tram car. In Picture 2, the principle of RULE OF THIRDS is used. With the tram car in the upper left quadrant and our eyes natural instinct to view from left to right combined with the downward slope of the tram cables, this principle helps to give the illusion that the car is traveling downhill. The expanded view in Picture 2 also provides a better sensation of how high over and how rugged the terrain is.
